DB2 - Problem description

INTERMITTENT DB21018E ERROR RETURNED TO CLP DURING CONNECTION TOA
DATABASE.

Problem description:
You man encounter intermittent DB21018E error returned to CLP
during connection to a database. 
The issue was first encountered in 10.5 FP9 due to recent code
changes. The issue is prevalent on servers with multiple Db2
instances created. 

The following message may be observed in the db2diag.log file :
