DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT25228 Status: Closed

DB2 CLIENT CACHE FILE SRVLST.XML SIZE GROWS BY 6 BYTES EVERY TIME WHEN
CONNECT TO PURESCALE.

Problem description:
DB2 client db cache file srvslst.xml grows every time when
connected to pureScale.
Every NEW connection will result in 6 bytes additional size to
cache file by
appending 2 new extra lines whenever the srvlst.xml file is
updated.

[cfgcache]$ ls -l srvrlst.xml

rw-rw-rw 1 user1 db2adm 535 May 9 10:20 srvrlst.xml

[ cfgcache]$ db2 connect to sample

Database Connection Information

Database server = DB2/LINUXX8664 11.1.3.3

SQL authorization ID = newton

Local database alias = F12RPTB

[ cfgcache]$ db2 terminate

DB20000I The TERMINATE command completed successfully.

[ cfgcache]$ ls -l srvrlst.xml

rw-rw-rw 1 user1 db2adm 541 May 9 10:20 srvrlst.xml

[ cfgcache]$ db2 connect to F12RPT
