The Spectrum Protect Snapshot might leave orphaned volumes, consistency groups, and FlashCopy mappings after backup or clone operations. This might happen when stopping of a consistency group containing FlashCopy mappings of a backup or clone takes more than 5 seconds. The problem is usually seen when either INCR or NOCOPY FlashCopy type is configured in a DEVICE_CLASS section for backups or clones. In the logs the operation is successful: DB db2p49.P49 14:10:05 (7fc217fff700) FMM8838I Starting synchronous delete operation.
