In 11.70 a user with effective group id set to bargroup cannot view/cat BAR_ACT_LOG/BAR_DEBUG_LOG file. The only way to do this is: $ sg bargroup -c "onbar -m 1000" In 11.70 the access rights of these onbar logfiles are 0660, in 12.10 they have 0664: 11.70: total 4 -rw-rw---- 1 informix informix 622 2015-09-03 11:43 bar_act_lb.log -rw-rw---- 1 informix informix 0 2015-09-03 11:43 bar_dbug_lb.log 12.10: total 8 -rw-rw-r-- 1 informix informix 2413 2015-09-03 11:35 bar_act_lb.log -rw-rw-r-- 1 informix informix 1136 2015-09-03 11:34 bar_dbug_lb.log | |
