Informix - Problem description
Problem IT11717 | Status: Closed |
POOLED CONNECTIONS ARE NOT PROPERLY CLEANED UP WHEN THE .NET PROVIDER IS UNLOADED
product: | |
IBM CSDK / 5724C2381 / 410 - CSDK 4.10
Problem description: | |
.NET Connections can be left in an "orphan" state if the application unloads the .NET provider and there are valid connections in the pool. Applications like the IIS Worker process can dynamically load and unload the .NET provider assembly which could leave connections active in the engine which are never cleaned up.
