ISAM ERROR - 125 (ISAM ERROR: CAN'T USE NFS.) AND -88103: CANNOTOPEN CATALOG TABLE WHEN CREATING THE PSM CATALOG

| Problem description: |
In HP-UX, using a non NFS (vxfs) file system for the PSM
catalog tables can trigger error -125.
$> onpsm -C detail
The Informix Primary Storage Manager catalog is not present in
the '/usr/informix/catalog/' directory.
The system will try to create it.
Error -88103: Cannot open catalog table
'/usr/informix/catalog/lock'.
ISAM Error = 125.
OS Error = 2 (No such file or directory).
Error -88101: Cannot create catalog tables.
Informix Primary Storage Manager catalog creation failed at
'/usr/informix/catalog/'. |
